Jackson Pulmonary Care is here to serve you. We specialize in treating diseases of the lung and other respiratory related disorders. After years in group practice, Dr. Jeff McCartney opened Jackson Pulmonary Care in 2001. Since that time, the practice has been blessed in areas of growth that we could have only imagined at that time. Specializing in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine, Dr. McCartney sees patients ranging in age from 6 to 96 (or beyond!).

The discipline of pulmonary medicine encompasses the evaluation and management of a wide variety of common clinical symptoms, such as chronic cough, wheezing, and shortness of breath. We also manage many chronic health conditions, including asthma, COPD, emphysema, chronic bronchitis, infectious lung diseases (e.g. tuberculosis), and lung cancers as well as rarer disorders, such as interstitial lung diseases (e.g. sarcoidosis and pulmonary fibrosis), pulmonary hypertension, and pleural diseases (conditions involving the lining of the lung). In addition, we focus on the diagnosis and treatment of sleep disorders such as obstructive sleep apnea, restless leg syndrome, and narcolepsy.

Our main office is conveniently located in Jackson, TN on the north side of town. Additionally, we have satellite offices in McKenzie, TN and in Lexington, TN with designated patient exam days available. Our main office hours are Monday through Thursday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and on Fridays from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm.
